…is Swahili for “No Worries”. When I got off the ferry this morning in Stonetown on the island of Zanzibar, I really felt like I had no worries.  I didn’t have much planned except a little R&R for these next four days, but today turned out to be one of the best days for photos of the expedition so far. There were children playing, women carrying enormous parcels on their heads, intricate doorways that were so detailed that I felt like I needed to stop and photograph every single one.  I hardly noticed that sweat was dripping off my face and my shirt was literally drenched because of the extreme heat and humidity. We have only seen the tip of the iceberg as we are off to the beautiful beaches on the Indian Ocean and spice plantations tomorrow.  After only my first of four days in Zanzibar, I can honestly say that it is one of the highlights of this adventure.
