When I worked as the North American sales manager at GAP Adventures, I would speak about Jaipur (the Pink City) in front of large groups, having never even been there. Today, I finally got to visit the city that I always spoke about, and it’s a magical place.  The streets are lined with shops and all the buildings are painted a peachy pink, which makes an amazing backdrop for people shots. As people went about their busy day, I parked myself at one side of the road and went shutter crazy.  Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan, a state famous for its food. I made sure to sample a bit of everything. Onion Kachori, Lassi, Samosas and Papri-Chat. Some of the most flavourful foods that have ever hit my taste buds. I threw caution to the wind and tried everything, surprisingly, I did not get “Delhi Belly” until I got back to Delhi, but I am sure you have no interest in hearing about that!  The images that came out of my time in Rajasthan were some of my favourite so far… Have a look!
